After making the last changes to the front cover of my music magazine, I asked a small sample of my target audience to assess the front cover design, and they were satisifed with the magazine as it meet their demands.

I have made minor changes to my second draft, in order to appeal to my target audience. This presentation illustrates the process and changes I made to my previous draft.

Mood-board

I created this video which includes images and music which have inspired me to produce my music magazine. This video was created on Windows Movie Maker. I have added different effects and transitions to make my mood-board interesting and entertaining.

I have analysed my mock up in more depth, so I have a greater understanding of the outcome I expect when I create this advert in Photoshop. I have stated and explained the impacts of the different elements which I will involve in my advert. It is essential to consider my target audience, therefore I have referred back to my music questionnaire results, to ensure that this advert is suitable for my target audience.

This is a rough outline which I will abide when I create my advert. I have created a mock up for my advert to structure my ideas and design.

Mock up for front cover

I have created a detailed mock up which explains my design in greater depth. This is useful as it will give me a better understanding for what I intend to produce. I will create my front cover in Photoshop.

I have created a rough mock up for my front cover which illustrates the positioning of the different elements I will include. I will use this as a guideline for when I create my front cover of my music magazine.

Music magazine questionnaire

I have created a questionnaire to identify my target audience for my music magazine. This market research will help me determine the need and wants from the consumers. Therefore by undertaking this questionnaire, I will be able to create a music magazine to satisfy the demand from the consumers.
